A. Jensen Nordic Fly Rod

A.Jensen Nordic fly rods are well balanced perfect rod for the intermediate fly fisherman/caster. The medium fast action gives you good line control, but still with plenty of power for long casting. We have designed the NORDIC rods using Advanced Helical Taper, which assures the rod is a great fishing tool and not only as “stiff” casting tool. It is a joy to fish and play fish on and it is easy to cast due to the “forgiven” action.

The first models were originally designed for using in streams and rainbow trout fisheries, but during the test phase, we found the rods very good and decided to expand the range so it now also covers coastal fishing and predator fishing. For added comfort when playing the bigger fish, like big Rainbows, Pike or Seatrout we have added a fighting butt on the # 5-8 models..

The NORDIC is designed in a classy deep brown look with slim gold trimmings and quality fittings, so it stands out as a beautiful and very well performing rod. Even though this is not the most expensive rod in the A.Jensen range we have not chosen cheap fittings. For the handle we use top quality AAA grade Portuguese cork, shooting guides are from the best in the business at present time - American Tackle. When you take the price into consideration, the NORDIC rods turned out to be an exceptional good value for money.
